Although the Starks & Menchinger Chapel dates from the early 2000’s, Robert "Bob" Starks and his family have been serving St. Joseph for decades. In 1961, Mr. Starks joined Louis Kerlikowske at his funeral home on Main Street, and later purchased several firms in other cities. When he purchased the Frost and Reiser Funeral Homes in Benton Harbor, he consolidated them at the present convenient location in St. Joseph.

Today, families celebrate life with us, and receive the highest level of service and care, regardless of their financial situation. We continue to commit ourselves to exceed your expectations in every service we provide.
